Welcome to United Way serving St. Tammany*!

I’m John Smith, Sr. Vice President of Whitney Bank, and I have the great honor of serving as the 2008 – 09 Campaign Chairman for United Way serving St. Tammany.  I have been involved with United Way for many years in New Orleans, Baton Rouge and now in St. Tammany Parish as a member of United Way serving St. Tammany’s Leadership Council.

United Way is the perfect vehicle to give back to our community in a way that distributes our donation to charitable initiatives that enhance the quality of life for our citizens. 

United Way serving St. Tammany is comprised of local people, looking at local problems and coming up with local solutions.  The people who rely on the dollars contributed to United Way each year range from children to the elderly.  Our contributions positively impact the lives of our residents.
