Corporate Partners

We extend a heartfelt thanks to our Corporate Partners and their employees.

United Way for the Greater New Orleans Area's Corporate Partners participate in a number of programs including:

• Corporate Donations - Corporate Partner organizations make significant annual lump sum donations.
• Each year local organizations are asked to select one or more employees or sponsor individuals to participate in our Loaned Executive Program. Participants become one of the greatest resources in United Way’s Community Campaign, helping to raise funds in over 1,300 organizations in the our service area.
• Workplace Giving – a program where employees make a donation from their pay.
• Volunteering – a program where teams of employees from our Corporate Partners volunteer for a specific project at a local community organization, such as painting, gardening or mentoring.
• Impact Area Tours/Speakers – a program where visits are arranged to or from community organizations so employees can hear first hand about a community issue and see how their donations are being used to help.

In addition, there is a variety of other ways that United Way for the Greater New Orleans Area's Corporate Partners raise money for United Way. These include:

• Holding special fundraising events in the workplace such as casual dress Fridays, football competitions, etc.
• Adopting and funding special projects.

Peoples Health - A United Way Leadership Giving Partner

Peoples Health understands the immense impact that Leadership Giving has on our community with more than 50 employees who donate at a Leadership Level of $500 or more. Of those leaders, 30 are also members of United Way's Women’s Leadership Council and one is a long-standing member of our elite Tocqueville Society. United Way is truly thankful for the incredible support of Peoples Health year after year, and we are proud to call Peoples Health our Leadership Giving Partner.
