It is a pleasure for me to introduce you to the new United Way for the Greater New Orleans Area - - the United Way that is working to bring our community closer together to get the results we want most.
United Way’s role is no longer to just raise money for non-profit organizations. The new United Way is a system of coordinated services working within three goal areas to change, in measurable ways, individual lives and the face of our community.

For example, we can keep our teens safe and trouble-free by providing them with safe, structured and exciting activities during non-school hours.
