ECC Welcome Center
You LIVE UNITED when you Give, Advocate and Volunteer.
As an Employee Campaign Coordinator, you do all three – THANK YOU!
Congratulations! You have been selected as the Employee Campaign Coordinator (ECC) for your company or organization. As an ECC, you will serve as a critical link between United Way and the people you work with every day. By doing so, you are helping us make our community better.
When you step forward as an ECC, you make a positive impact on our community by building a stronger and healthier place to live and work every day. You will educate your fellow employees about United Way and encourage them to contribute to United Way’s Maximum Impact Fund, the most effective way to support the greater New Orleans area. Remember, the more people know about United Way, the more likely they will give their support. Your leadership in this campaign will touch the lives of hundreds of thousands who live in Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines,
St. Bernard, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa and Washington Parishes.
Your United Way Campaign Representative will work with you to ensure successful results. Like every worthwhile project, raising funds and resources to improve our community is challenging, but rewarding. Thank you for your commitment to United Way and taking on this important role.
Through your generous donations to United Way for the Greater New Orleans Area, people in our seven parish service area were touched more times last year than any other one non-profit! This section gives you the tools you need to encourage donations, discuss United Way's stringent assessment and accountability process and communicate the results of community investments.
Leadership and innovation are two key ingredients for a successful campaign and the year-round engagement of your staff. This section gives you step-by-step toolkits to help you educate and engage your employees, from top-level management to part-timers.

How I Live United
"To me LIVE UNITED means to motivate others to give, volunteer, or advocate at any level. Employees at our company have a strong will to help out – usually all you have to do is ask. The greater New Orleans area is full of people like ours, who want to make the region a better place by doing their part. Some are leaders who contribute a great deal of time, while others prefer to pledge a portion of their hard-earned income each year."
